MBSB and Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan Gym have recently come into a partnership.
Details:
MBSB will host Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan Gym advertising that will lead to a page outlining the gym’s details, training structure, and prices. The page will be created by me and hosted on MBSB. Should you be interested in training at Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan Gym and go through this site, I will receive a commission of your training dues. This is at no cost to you and it assists me with my own training expenses. Prices are the same whether you go through the gym directly, or through me.
I’m excited about this mutually beneficial partnership. I’ve been given no indication that the crew at Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan Gym are anything but solid people. I hope their gym thrives opening to a broader (international) market via the web. At this time of writing, although muay thai is alive in the province of Buriram, it’s dying here in the city. Numerous gyms have closed over recent years and it’s starting to look like a muay thai graveyard out here.
Buriram has been the birthplace of numerous champions. Lookchaomaesaithong Gym (and its succeeding names Neephon, Sakneephon) has been a staple here in Buriram for decades. For those of you who have trained under Coban in the NYC and Jersey areas, this is where his career began. The addition / name change to Sit Namkabuan Gym (they are currently using both names) is a result of owner Mr Nipon Chotison’s son-in-law and past Lumpinee Champion Thanith Komsai / Namkabuan taking over the position of Lead Trainer after his return to Buriram from China in 2011.
In the following weeks on MBSB you will see posted: advertising, the gym’s detail page and eventually a gym review. As I’m currently training at Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan Gym, I suspect I’ll write of them often. My intent is to keep everything objective; I have no intention of creating hype about the gym in an effort to profit from it. No one will truly benefit if I do.
Later Everyone….
Update 2015:
I’m no longer assisting the gym with reservations. The gym has expanded and in addition to maintaining Lookchaomaesaithong Sit Namkabuan gym, they’ve also opened up Buriram BeBoxing. Details can be found here.
